Had the opportunity of meeting Martin, Harry and Ryan McConachie at the end of a 2800 mile epic journey around the 92+ football league clubs. Started at Yeovil two weeks ago, came via Hereford and Elmore Football Clubs, finishing at Exeter today. Thank you to Exeter City Football Club for welcoming them onto the pitch at half time - nice touch. They have received a boot full of memorabelia which will be auctioned off shortly - watch this space.

Brilliant effort

We had a great night at Hereford FC on Saturday, as Nibbo and the Bulls supporters celebrated the careers of Rob Robert Purdie and Ryan Green - two Hereford Leg Ends! They both played with Adam and shared fond memories of their time playing with him. But the evening was about them and their long careers. It was an outstanding evening - thanks for the invitation. Hereford FC is a special club, where Adam and Marie had great times as they were promoted to the Football League. Congratulations on promotion and good luck for next season.

Our thanks and condolences go to the family of the late Harold Thresher who sadly passed away on 8th January 2017. The ‘retiring collection’ was generously donated to the Foundation. Harry Thresher (Grandson) coaches at Exeter City Development Centre and found Adam to be a great inspiration. It is always heartwarming to hear these stories. Our thoughts are with Heath, Louise and Harry Thresher at this sad time. See MoreSee Less
