We received a nice message from Otterton CofE Primary School including this photograph. This makes it all worth while and we hope it makes it worthwhile for our supporters and fundraisers too. Thank you Emma Cocker. See MoreSee Less

And from St Peter’s in Budleigh Salterton – ‘On Tuesday 31st October, we received a very generous surprise donation from the Adam Stansfield Foundation. They arrived at school with footballs, pop up goals and agility equipment.

This equipment will be used by our lunchtime team to help increase the amount of activity at lunchtime! Nate, Josie and Miia, three of our Year 6 Young Sport Leaders, were amazed when they heard they they will be able to use this kit to deliver their activities.’ See MoreSee Less

Huge thanks for our new football equipment – From Withycombe Primary School in Exmouth

‘Last week we were delighted to receive a surprise visit from Shaun and Andrea Parkin from the Adam Stansfield Foundation. The Foundation kindly donated a bag full of football training equipment including a pop-up goal, bibs, ladders and hurdles and of course a nice set of footballs.

Everything will be put to good use by one of our three school-run football clubs, and in PE lessons. The children always love to work with new equipment as they hone their skills, and our clubs will be all the better due to the donation.

On behalf of all of our footballers we would like to thank the Adam Stansfield Foundation for their hard work in raising funds and supporting football in Stanno’s name.

Please keep them in mind next time you would like to make a charitable contribution.

We have been ordering, sorting and packing Football Kits for Exeter Primary Schools ready for delivery next week. I suppose you could call it ‘ball bagging’! See MoreSee Less

This arrived in the post today. Thank you so much to Cherry Class, St Joseph’s. It makes all that we do worthwhile to know it is appreciated. Shaun and Andrea worked really hard ordering and delivering the school packs, tripping over them in their living room till they were all safely handed over, so I know his will mean such a lot to them when they see your beautiful drawings. Have fun using the equipment. Lots of love . Gig xx (Adams Mum) See MoreSee Less

Thank you to Bev Alderson, Deputy Head of Exeter Road for this excerpt from the School Newsletter. It makes it all worth while.

‘Earlier this month, we had a lovely surprise when we received a free Football Coaching set from the Adam Stansfield Foundation, which was set up by Adam Stansfield’s family following his untimely death from Bowel Cancer. Adam Stansfield was a professional football player for Exeter City. The foundation’s aim is to help give young people the unique opportunity to develop life skills through the power of football.
Mr Underwood, our football coach, was excited to receive a set of new footballs, pop-up goals, ladders, cones and hurdles and new orange bibs. It means that more children can now access our football clubs, which run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Grateful thanks to the Adam Stansfield Foundation.’ See MoreSee Less

Brilliant!

Handing out football equipment on Tuesday was very rewarding. Today we toured Exeter emptying collection pots from some of our great supporters. Always humbled by the thought of ‘joe public’ putting their change into our pots to benefit young people in Adam’s name. Thank you to those who frequent – St Annes Well, The Centre Spot, ECFC Shop, McColls and All the Tony Pryce Sports shops.
If you are a business and want to put a collection pot on your counter – please get in touch.
